1. Cookies and other storage technologies we use
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Alongside them, this site uses browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), which serves an equivalent purpose and is subject to the same information and consent rules. All of them are described in this policy.
2. Nothing is activated before your consent
On your first visit, a cookie notice is displayed on every page of this site. Until you make a choice, consent remains denied by default (Google Consent Mode v2): no measurement tool is loaded and no analytics cookie is set. Closing the notice without choosing changes nothing — analytics stays off.
3. Technical storage (always active)
These items are strictly necessary to deliver the service you request and are exempt from consent under article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE). They are not used to profile you and are not shared with third parties.
kairos_cookie_consent_v1— localStorage, first party. Records whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies, so the notice is not shown again. Persists until you clear site data in your browser.kairos_lead_sent_at— sessionStorage, first party. Records the moment a form was submitted so the same enquiry is not counted twice when you reach the confirmation page. Cleared when you close the tab.
4. Analytics cookies (optional, consent only)
If you accept, Google Analytics 4 is loaded with measurement ID
G-XCNMLL8P7S, with IP anonymization, Google signals disabled and no advertising
personalisation. No advertising or remarketing tag is installed on this site.
_ga— Google. Distinguishes browsers on a pseudonymous basis. Duration: 2 years._ga_XCNMLL8P7S— Google. Maintains measurement session state. Duration: 2 years.
Purpose: aggregate measurement of site usage (page views, traffic source, form submissions, clicks on contact details and reading depth in Journal articles), so we can understand which content is useful. Event data is retained in Google Analytics for the period configured on the property, up to a maximum of 14 months.
5. How to accept, decline and withdraw your choice
- Accept or decline: from the notice shown on your first visit, using the “Accept cookies” and “Decline” buttons. Both options carry equal weight and the site works the same if you decline.
- Withdraw or change your choice at any time: click “Manage cookies” in the footer of any page. The notice reopens and your new choice replaces the previous one immediately.
- From your browser: you may delete cookies and site data in your browser settings, which also resets the notice.
6. Legal basis
The technical storage described in section 3 relies on article 22.2 LSSI-CE, as it is necessary to provide the service you request. The analytics cookies in section 4 rely on your consent (article 22.1 LSSI-CE and article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679), which you may withdraw at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
7. Third parties and international transfers
Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC provides Google Analytics 4 and serves the site typefaces through Google Fonts. Google Fonts sets no cookies, but loading it involves a connection to Google servers that records your IP address. See Google's privacy policy. Site hosting and form intake are provided by Netlify, Inc., certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; see their privacy policy. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the safeguards of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 apply.
8. Further information
Please review our Privacy Policy, which details the data processed through the forms and the automated assessment of enquiries, or contact contact.kairosprivate@gmail.com.
